Services offered and what to expect

Design and set up website
Each website can be set up from scratch as specified by the client. I recommend that vets look at websites that they are happy with and I will try to match their preferences as closely as I can.
The set up process takes about a week with regular communication with my client via e-mail. I will also take over an existing website to keep it updated or completely overhaul an outdated practice website. I use dreamweaver software to design and maintain my sites.
Regular maintenance
Each site is updated with monthly articles relevant to the season or pet information/latest offers/latest practice news.
A practice's personal latest news will be used first, but if preferred, your site can be updated with one of my own articles. I also keep any practice newsletters regularly updated and publish them on the site either in pdf format or as a webpage.
"Any latest news is published as soon as it is received"
Keeping a website updated also ensures that the site is visited regularly and remains popular to promote your business and attract new clients.
Veterinary articles
There are a number of dog, cat and rabbit health articles to use on my websites. Increased client education should hopefully lead to better compliance with treatment. You have the choice of whether to use my articles or your own.
Picture editing
I am happy to receive photos or pictures in any format and they will be edited for each specific website. There are a number of photos that are available to use as well.
Contact/new client register online forms
I produce forms that clients can easily access and the forms are then sent straight to your practice e-mail inbox. You have the choice of an online registration form, repeat prescription form, contact form, booking online appointments form or a client satisfaction survey form.
Each form has a captcha attached. This is to prevent your practice inbox being flooded with spam.
Practice mailbox set up
I am able to set up a mailbox for the practice with your specific practice domain. I use the hosting company 1and1 and the mailboxes that I set up can be accessed from any computer using your own password.
Links
Relevant links are provided on each website. These are links that would benefit your clients such as links to an online shop, Defra pet travel scheme, practice facebook page, feline advisory bureau, pet insurance companies etc, and any other links that you feel would benefit your clients and your website.
Each link to an external e-mail address from your website would open in a new window to prevent the visitor to the website from leaving your site.
Testing each site in various browsers
Every page that is built is tested in internet explorer, mozilla firefox, google chrome and safari to ensure that every website is compatible with these main browsers.
Search engine submission
Every completed website is submitted to the large search engines ie Google and Yahoo. It takes approximately 4 weeks for your site to be found by these search engines and most of my websites rank in the top 3 in the search engine rankings. I use keywords, descriptions and titles that are relevant to your site to ensure that your website dominates the area you are in.
